A private practice in Florida needs the services of a psychiatrist who is available for six months of locum tenens coverage. This is a hybrid position where the locum will work in the inpatient partial hospitalization group where the average length of stay is between 30 - 60 days. Patients seen on this assignment will be struggling with substance abuse or addiction and the locum can expect to care for 8 - 10 such patients per day supported by full clinical and nursing staffs. This position carries full-time hours where the locum will work Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) with weeknight and weekday call coverage. Avatar is the EMR used at this facility.
