  Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV), Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a fellowship-trained Ophthalmology-Cornea specialist.

 

The position provides an opportunity to join two general Ophthalmologists, Glaucoma specialist, Surgical Retina specialist and two Optometrists.

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is currently expanding, doubling the size of our ophthalmology practice.

About this position:

·         Advanced technologies: Optos and the Heidelberg OCT, Pachymetry, Topography and HVF: Humphry visual field, Octopus. IOL Master and an Immersion for lens calculations

·         Treatment options, including SLT Laser, YAG Laser, Argon Laser

·         Surgery is performed at our South Campus at GSWB and in the main OR at GWV.

·         Practice doubling in size

·         Ophthalmology call 1:4

·         Avg 400 inpatient consults / year

 

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV), located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is an acute care hospital that is licensed for 243 beds, and houses the only Level II Trauma center in Luzerne County.
