DEPUTY EDITOR OF ONCOLOGY FOR DYNAMED

It is a flagship product of EBSCO Health, a leading provider of clinical decision support solutions and medical research information for healthcare professionals worldwide. DynaMed's mission is to provide the most useful information to healthcare professionals at the point-of-care. DynaMed is seeking a full-time Deputy Editor of Oncology. The Deputy Editor will be the head of the oncology specialty publishing group, acting as the chief authority over this specialty content. He/she will be a strategic leader who will develop a vision for the oncology content across DynaMed Plus, leading topic creation, enhancement, and maintenance efforts. The Deputy Editor will drive collaboration between his/her team of clinical and medical writers and editors, and other publishing groups. He/she will also recruit and retain a network of external physician editors and peer reviewers. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician with at least 10 years of direct patient care experience and a willingness to maintain clinical activities. He/she must have a breadth and depth of knowledge in the field as demonstrated by clinical leadership roles, teaching, research, and a publication track record. A demonstrated expertise in evidence-based medicine and health information technology is strongly preferred.
