Job Details

Boston Children's Hospital seeks BC/BE Pediatric physicians for its St. Luke's Hospital (New Bedford) and Milford Regional Medical Center (Milford) network facilities.

Milford Regional Medical Center
  • Mix of hospitalist and ED shifts.
  • Hospitalist shifts include coverage of the inpatient pediatric ward, nursery and L&D.
  • Full-time schedule averages 29 hours per week.
  • 5-6 bed Pediatric ED; 16 bed Level I nursery
  • Joined BCH network in 2013.
  • Milford is located one hour southwest of Boston and 45 minutes to Providence.
St. Luke's Hospital
  • Cross coverage of floor/ED in addition to ED only shifts
  • Floor coverage will include seeing some babies in the nursery.
  • Full-time schedule averages 24-26 hours per week.
  • 5 room Pediatric ED; 8 bed Level IIA Special Care Nursery
  • Part of Southcoast Health System, a BCH network site since 2012
  • New Bedford is one hour south of Boston and 40 minutes east of Providence.
