A hospital located in Kentucky is looking for a hospitalist who is able to provide coverage on a six-month locum tenens assignment. This is a 12-bed level two trauma unit where the locum will round on patients, respond to codes, and perform intubations as necessary. Shifts worked on this assignment will be 12-hour shifts beginning at 7am and ending at 7pm. On a typical shift the locum can expect to see 15 - 17 patients with an additional two admissions. This assignment has a 7on 7 off schedule. The EMR used at this is McKesson, however paper charts are also still used.
