Norwalk Hospital is a 328-bed, academically oriented, community hospital with primary educational affiliation with Yale University School of Medicine. It is ranked in the top 5% nationally for clinical excellence by HealthGrades®. This position will be located at Norwalk Community Health Center, the Hospital's main ambulatory teaching site. This federally qualified health center is located less than one mile from our main campus. The Associate Program Director will provide mentorship and teaching for residents rotating at this site; work with faculty on curriculum development; help develop programs in research and quality improvement; serve as a liaison between Norwalk Hospital and Norwalk Community Health Center administration; and work closely with the Program Director in the overall development of the residency program in the context of the evolving ACGME requirements.
