Job Details
The Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute seek a dynamic physician scientist to serve as Chief, Section of Neurology. The chosen individual will lead the Section of Neurology into the next phase of academic and clinical development. Carilion Clinic, headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, is the largest community-led integrated health system in western Virginia, serving one million people with seven hospitals and 680-plus physicians in over 70 specialties. Highlights include: eight Neurology and nine Neurosurgery faculty; ACGME Neurology Residency; expectation to develop research programs with VTCRI with its cadre of NIH funded scientists; VTCRI has state-of-the-art facilities for basic, translational, and clinical research; start-up packages, laboratory facilities, and support are highly competitive.
