The Department of Psychiatry at Lenox Hill Hospital is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient team.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art 28-bed inpatient Psychiatry unit on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Multidisciplinary staff includes Attendings, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses, and Creative Arts Therapists. 

Highly academic environment – supervise Residents, Medical Students, Physician Assistant Students, Psychology Interns, and Social Work Students, lead didactics and journal clubs, and participate in ongoing research activities.

The Lenox Hill Hospital, a 652-bed hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, has earned a national reputation for outstanding patient care, public health education, and community outreach. The Department of Psychiatry is an expertly-staffed academically-oriented clinical department which provides comprehensive inpatient and ambulatory psychiatric services for both adults and children. The Department sponsors numerous education and training programs, and is well known for the treatment of first episode psychosis, schizophrenia, refractory mood disorders, geriatric psychiatry, ADHD, and learning disorders.

Located right off tree-lined Park Avenue in Manhattan, Lenox Hill is only steps from the beauty and serenity of Central Park, diverse restaurants, Museum Mile, and the infamous shopping of Madison Avenue. Lenox Hill is easily accessible by the #6 train servicing the East Side, Brooklyn, and the Bronx with easy transfers to the West Side as well. Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
