The Department of Radiology at Geisinger Health System, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking a fellowship trained, Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join our system-wide team of more than 80 fellowship trained radiologists. This position is located in Wilkes Bare, PA. We are enhancing our system coverage in an ever growing practice. As a member of the system-wide nuclear medicine team of (5) radiologists the successful candidate will have the opportunity to practice cutting edge medicine within a tranquil setting of eastern and north eastern PA. The position is approximately 60% nuclear medicine and 40% general radiology. The nuclear medicine experience includes basic diagnostic nuclear medicine, nuclear medicine therapies, and PET/CT. The general radiology experience includes plain radiographs, CT, and US. Our team serves (4) main hospital campuses and several smaller clinics/community hospitals. We have four PET/CT's, one SPECT/CT, and 11 gamma cameras in the system. Additional opportunities include participation in tumor boards, multidisciplinary clinic meetings, and other interdisciplinary activities. Research opportunities are available.
