  Geisinger Health System is seeking a BC/BE vascular surgeon to join the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery team at Geisinger-Community Medical Center (G-CMC), located in Scranton, PA.  Scranton is the home of the Geisinger Commonwealth College of Medicine.

About the position: 

·         The vascular surgery team at C-GMC is currently made up of 3 board-certified vascular surgeons and 2 physician extenders.  This will expand to group to 4 vascular surgeons

·         The practice is limited to vascular and endovascular surgery – no general surgery

·         Approximately 60% of the practice is endovascular

·         Brand new dedicated state-of-the-art endovascular suite located in a new OR

·         ICAVL-accredited vascular lab with approximately 10,000 studies per year run within the vascular department

·         In 2015, G-CMC’s Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery performed 1000 vascular surgical cases and saw 3000 office patients

·         Practice includes the full spectrum of vascular practice from carotid surgery to open aortic surgery and aortic stent grafts  

·         Call will be one in three
