Job Details
A Nebraska-based facility is currently seeking a locum tenens hospitalist who may be interested in a ongoing offer. Assignment schedule is 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am, 7-14 shifts need coverage monthly, and physician will see 14-16 patients per day on average. Covering physician must be board certified in IM or FM and have an active and unrestricted NE license or be willing to obtain one. Assignment requirements include ICU rounding and running codes. All types of facilities use locum tenens doctors to relieve physician burnout, maintain patient satisfaction, and stay fully staffed during busy times, or while searching for a permanent doctor.
