Medical Director - Pediatric Critical Care

The Children’s Program at Presbyterian is seeking a Medical Director for the PICU service. The Medical Director will be responsible for the management of MD staff including development and coaching; evaluations; dealing with performance issues; strong collaboration with unit Nursing leadership; ECMO program management and development; PICU program development. PICU MD skills including the management of post-CV surgery patients are a must.
The Presbyterian Children’s Service Line encompasses both inpatient and outpatient services for specialty pediatric care. Our PICU is 21 beds, admits over 3300 patients per year (9 MD Intensivists); Level III NICU with over 60 beds (8 MD Neonatologist, 7 APCs). Pediatric Hospitalist service is a 36-bed unit and employs 10 Pediatric Hospitalists. We have a pediatric intensivist, neonatologist, and pediatric hospitalist in house 24/7. Our pediatric subspecialties include: cardiology, pediatric cardiovascular surgery, neurology, endocrinology, surgery, ENT, pulmonology, gastroenterology, hematology and oncology, feeding and development, chronic care, infectious disease, nephrology, and radiology.
