Providence, RI. Job ID: THE00024B. The Miriam Hospital is seeking Board Certified General Internist interested in Women's Primary Care. We are looking for an energetic general internist with a special interest in women's health to join our primary care practice at the new Women's Medicine Collaborative (WMC) at Lifespan. The WMC provides a multidisciplinary model of care for adult women with 24 providers in the fields of behavioral health, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, obstetric medicine, pulmonology, cancer survivorship, and primary care. To achieve our goal of providing comprehensive services to women, we also offer nutrition counseling, physical therapy, bone density testing, pulmonary function testing, and laboratory services on-site. We use electronic medical records and are located in a beautiful, newly renovated historic facility in Providence. Our providers are affiliated with Alpert Medical School of Brown University. A full-time position available with potential teaching opportunities; will consider part-time. Qualifications: Physician must be board certified or board eligible; Must have RI MD Licensure.
