Director, Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health
Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks an experienced and visionary leader with a distinguished academic record, for the position of Director, Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health (VIGH).
VIGH has 15 core faculty, 81 affiliated faculty, approximately 100 students and fellows, over $100 Million in funding, in more than 15 countries, with a strong presence in LMICs. VIGH maintains a strong commitment to innovative and collaborative interdisciplinary programs, which promote health worldwide.
The successful candidate has a distinguished record of leadership in Global Health or a related field, a dedication to excellence in clinical and research programs, and a demonstrated commitment to education at the undergraduate, through post-graduate and mid-career training levels. Applicants must qualify for the rank of Professor at Vanderbilt University (MD, PhD, DO, or foreign equivalent), in a discipline related to global health. This is a full-time, tenured position.
