Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Syracuse, New York has an opening for a full-time Academic General Gastroenterologist. Candidates must be BC in Internal Medicine, BC/BE in Gastroenterology, and have experience in GI manometry, impedance PH testing, radio frequency ablation, endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, and biliary interventional procedures. The successful candidate will be required to have advanced training in gastrointestinal motility. The medical center offers state-of-the-art equipment including ultrasound capability. A new endoscopic/clinical suite was opened in April 2012. Will consider candidates who will be completing Gastroenterology fellowship training or becoming board eligible in June 2013. Applicants must possess a current and unrestricted license in any state and must qualify for an academic appointment at the SUNY Upstate Medical University.
