A hospital located in Kentucky needs an anesthesiologist who is available to cover a monthlong locum tenens assignment. This position will require the locum to see patients of all ages as there is a possibility the locum will have to intubate pediatric patients. This facility has four ORs where the anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia for surgical and obstetrics procedures. The locum will also be required to cover for gastroenterology cases when needed. Candidates for this position should be comfortable inserting central and arterial lines. Hours worked at this facility will be 7am - 3pm with a 1 : 2 call schedule. When the locum is on call they will only have to return to the facility for emergency C-sections. Over the month of this assignment the locum will provide one weekend of call coverage.
