Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist
The MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center are actively recruiting an early or mid-career cardiologist for our Advanced Heart Failure Program. The applicant should be board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation. Duties include the inpatient and outpatient care of patients with heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation and advanced pulmonary hypertension in an academic practice setting. Our rapidly growing program implanted 79 durable LVADs and performed 16 heart transplants last year. This position provides the opportunity for a faculty appointment at Georgetown University.
