We are assisting an Alabama-based facility that is currently seeking a cardiovascular surgeon to help with locum tenens CVT surgery coverage - vascular and thoracic are required. Your assignment schedule is 1-2 weeks per month or a few weekends a month. As the covering physician, you must be board certified. There is an advanced practice provider available for support. Your assignment requirements include primarily responding to ER and hospital consults. There will be limited or no post case follow-up. The ideal physician has an active AL license in hand. Locum tenens doctors deliver highly valued services in community health centers, health professional shortage areas, low-income districts, and other urban locations in need.
