Job Details: The College of Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Toledo invites applications for the Senior Associate Dean for Research. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced researcher with leadership/administrative experience to influence health care through research. The Associate Dean for Research reports directly to the Dean and represents the College of Medicine and Life Sciences to internal and external constituents to promote, facilitate, and disseminate research activities. The successful candidate must possess research leadership skills, interdisciplinary collaboration experience, administrative ability, and interpersonal skills that enable working across multiple disciplines that address priority issues and funding opportunities in the research community. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be an accomplished scientist with an MD or PhD, possess strong research and scholarly credentials, and a well-established track record of securing extramural funding. Significant administrative experience in an academic health science center setting with a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with various constituencies for the betterment of the College and University is desirable.
