Urology long-term clinic locums work in Sacramento CA Area   to start ASAP (6 to 8 weeks to credential) Job Post 23142

Residency trained BC/BE Urologist needed for FTE locums position in a beautiful suburban community outside of Sacramento.  Large hospital system with state-of-the-art medical facility seeks a FTE locum tenens physician while practice continues to recruit for a permanent staff member.  Locums-to-perm is a possibility.  A Locums candidate is sought in preparation of a retiring physician with an established non-surgical practice of 30 years.  Surgical urology is certainly an option.  This is considered a General Urology practices, however skills in female urology would be a plus.  ESWL’s are currently being done. Physician can expect to see some pediatrics, adults and elderly.  There is one admitting hospital in the community.  There is blocked OR time for the urology Department for every Thursday and the third Wednesday of each month, often using outpatient surgery center.  Laparoscopic Skills are important. Robot Urological surgery at a 2^nd nearby hospital is an option; such procedures would require an in-house stay and follow-up. Established patients are scheduled 15 minutes apart and 30 minutes for new consults.  Practice is staffed by three physicians, four exam rooms and one procedure room.
