Primary Care Staff Physician

Western Connecticut Medical Group (WCMG) is seeking a Staff Physician for their WCMG Westport Primary Care practice in Westport, CT. It is a highly regarded practice in a beautiful, newly renovated facility. At this busy established practice you will work closely with three physician colleagues as well as several APRN/physician assistants.

We have the ability to coordinate primary care and specialty care needs with the advanced diagnostic and treatment services available through our network of over 385 physicians and three member hospitals: Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, and Norwalk Hospital.

Job Summary:

Provide medical care to patients in an outpatient setting, assist them to recover from acute illnesses, and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses. Teaching opportunities are possible for some roles.

Job Requirements:

• MD or DO with Connecticut Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration
• Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Flexible weekday schedules between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. Full-Time position with a minimum 37.5 hours available for patient contact including one weekend per month. Call responsibilities shared with providers from multiple locations.
