Full-time Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist

The MGH Cardiology Division and the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center are seeking a full-time Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist to join the Division’s academic group practice. The candidate would fulfill a clinical and academic role as either a clinician-educator or a clinician-investigator. It is anticipated that the academic appointment ranking will be at the Assistant Professor level based on qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate will have advanced fellowship training and experience in the management of heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support patients. The physician will work in various heart failure initiatives to optimize care delivery. It is expected that the candidate will develop both an institutional and regional consultative referral practice. As a member of the Cardiology Division, the selected candidate will also be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the Division and assume teaching responsibilities for cardiology fellows and medical residents. Opportunities exist for the selected candidate to participate in the extensive research activities of the Division. The candidate must be board certified in internal medicine and certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases and advanced heart failure. The review process is ongoing.
