Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking Locums coverage for a Board Certified Occupational Medicine Provider in California.

Coverage need starts in January, and is ongoing. The physician shall provide onsite services on agreed upon schedule date(s) of any onsite event. Duties may include but are not limited to providing medical consultation within the scope of a physician license in support of company requirements. Determine fitness for duty, functional capacity, and medical restrictions for employees in relation to job demands. Physician will not do DOT and annual exams. Lastly, perform occupational health surveillance exams and make medical qualification recommendations for the OC health exam program. Providers must include any past/present or on going malpractice cases and investigations.

First scheduled appt. is at 7am the day of the event. Med physician should be there at 6:45am. Will see approx. 10-15 ULA employees per day. Dipstick and urine testing only. More detail upon request.  A typical presentation will include the following; however initial conversation with submission of CV and availability to MDA is a great starting point:  CV, 2 peer references, details on EMR experience, NM license copy, availability, malpractice history, and any details of NPDB or license action.
