The Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan is seeking to recruit an MD, MD PhD or PhD in Cancer Epigenetics. The candidate selected should be an exceptionally productive, creative, and collaborative scientist with expertise in epigenetics and epigenomics. We are particularly interested in scientists working in the area of cancer biology, hematopoiesis, or stem cell biology.

Candidates will have the opportunity to synergize with existing strengths at the University of Michigan to further develop basic and translational research programs that span across departments and the cancer center. The Department of Pathology currently ranks #6 in NIH funding and supports a robust and impactful research program that includes over 100 research faculties in basic, translational, and clinical sciences that utilize state-of-art multi-disciplinary approaches to investigate pathobiology of human disease. Successful candidates will be expected to establish and maintain a strong extramurally funded research program.

The appointment will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with the candidate’s level of experience, accomplishments, and track record of academic achievement. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to Service Excellence are required.
