The Chickasaw Nation Department of Health is a tribal health system serving the Native American population. This is not a reservation, but a progressive and financially sound tribe that is integrated in this city of approximately 20K. The new hospital and clinics were built in 2010 and include modern imaging technology, pharmacy, lab, audiology, and physical therapy along with all the primary care specialties and specialists including Endocrinology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Dentistry, Optometry, and many others. In addition to the Medical Center, there are three satellite outpatient clinics, all located within one hour of the hospital. The Internal Med Clinic includes two internists, a NP, and nursing support staff.

Located just two hours north of Dallas, Texas and about one hour from Oklahoma City, we are able to take advantage of the amenities without the daily congestion and traffic of the metro areas. There is a four-year university that offers graduate degrees in our city and the two major universities (OU and OSU) are just one hour and two hours away, respectively. Public school options are excellent and there are a number of local amenities, including a new movie theater, live theatre and music concerts through the university in a brand new fine arts center.
