Urgent Care Medical Director Position in Southeast New Jersey

Seeking an Urgent Care Medical Director for an employed position by AltantiCare Physician Group (APG). This position will report to the System Chief Medical Officer, be accountable to the APG Vice President for all business and operational issues and work collaboratively with the Assistant Vice President for Urgent Care.

• Day-to-day schedule would include Medical Leadership in maintaining high quality, customer friendly, efficient care ? ensuring clinical standardization across the sites. Developing new innovative and detailed strategies in our centers. Working collaboratively with AVP of Urgent Care on implementing growth strategy/expansion sites; rounding with providers and developing initiatives to enhance the urgent care service offerings.
• Role is 80% administrative and 20% clinical.
• Day-to-day schedule would include Medical Leadership in maintaining high quality, customer friendly, efficient care ? ensuring clinical standardization across the sites. Developing new innovative and detailed strategies in our centers. Working collaboratively with AVP of Urgent Care on implementing growth strategy/expansion sites; rounding with providers and developing initiatives to enhance the urgent care service offerings.
• AtlantiCare?s current footprint expands across 5 southern New Jersey counties. Currently, there are 10 centers and projecting 5 new centers to open over the next 1 to 3 years.
• Staff consists of 30 physicians, 5 physician assistants, 3 APNs, and an RN Nurse Director with daily staffing consisting of RNs trained in ER/Critical Care, certified medical assistants, a radiology technician and a customer service representative.
