A hospital in located in Virginia is looking for a psychiatrist who is available for a four-month locum tenens assignment. This is an adult inpatient unit where the locum will see 15 patients per day who will require general psychiatric care. Average length of stay at the hospital is five to eight days with an additional 3 - 5 admissions per day. Candidates who are able to see children and who are board certified in psychiatry will receive additional consideration for this position.
