Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking Locums coverage for a Board Certified Cardiology provider in  Apple Valley, CA
Coverage need starts as soon as possible and is ongoing, however it is typical to expect extensions. Providers must include any past/present or on going malpractice cases and investigations. The covering physician will only do cath lab work. There are no consults, no inpatient rounding, no echos, or ECG's to read, no phone calls from the ED (Except MI cath lab activation), No phone calls from floor nurses, etc.

Every single patient has a general cardiologist assigned to them, and that physician manages everything once the patient leaves the cath lab. On call physician may be texted with a question or tow, but the assigned cardiologist manages the care.

Program has an active heart surgery program and is a STEMI center.

There is an average 0-3 calls per week.
A typical presentation will include the following; however initial conversation with submission of CV and availability to MDA is a great starting point:  CV, 2 peer references, details on EMR experience, CA license copy, availability, malpractice history, and any details of NPDB or license action.
