The Department of Medicine at the University of Louisville is requesting applications for the position of Division Chief of Nephrology and Hypertension. The Division currently has 22 faculty members, 13 MD faculty and nine PhD faculty, four Nurse Practitioners, and one Physician Assistant. The Division offers all aspects of kidney care including In Center Hemodialysis, Home Dialysis, acute CRRT and SLED, kidney transplantation, interventional nephrology, and subspecialized outpatient care in hypertension, glomerular diseases, and stone disease in addition to general nephrology. Our chronic dialysis program includes 430 patients and our transplant program performs 70-75 transplants per year. The candidate should have prior administrative experience and preferably an established research program either clinical or basic. VA or NIH-funded investigators are greatly encouraged to apply.
