NON INVASIVE CARDIOLOGIST - GEISINGER COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER

 
Geisinger Heart Institute at Geisinger Community Medical Center (G-CMC), located in Scranton, Pa., is growing its cardiology physician base. G-CMC is a tertiary teaching hospital with 297 beds and is an accredited regional Level II Trauma Center with a contemporary cardiac program.  G-CMC is currently in the process of a major $160 Million facility expansion which includes a new electrophysiology laboratory, operating rooms, intensive care rooms, and ambulatory clinics.

 

As part of the Geisinger Health System, the Geisinger Heart Institue spans a 31-county service area with 41 employed cardiologists, 23 employed surgeons (8 cardiac, 4 thoracic and 11 vascular), three acute care tertiary/ quaternary hospitals, four community hospitals and numerous outreach locations. Geisinger Heart Institute features accredited chest pain centers, a nationally recognized regional STEMI PCI network, TAVR program, complex arrhythmia ablation, and the full range of coronary, vascular and structural heart interventions. At G-CMC, cardiology positions are being recruited in collaboration with local cardiology providers jointly dedicated to achieving the highest levels of quality, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
