HOSPITALIST PHYSICIAN - Unique Opportunity in Anchorage Alaska!

The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) seeks a Hospitalist to join our growing team. As a Level II Trauma center, the highest trauma designation in Alaska, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. ANMC is the only Magnet-designated facility for nursing excellence in Alaska. Our unique patient population, collegial team, and incredible location make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!

• 24/7 Coverage for adult inpatients.
• 12-Hour shifts; 7 on/7 off; rotation to nights every 2  to 3 months.
• 24 Weeks/168 shifts per year.
• Opportunity to perform procedures.
• Average day shift workload of 15 patients with 3 to 4 admissions.
• Closed ICU managed by Critical Care/Pulmonary Intensivists.

As a member of our team, you will receive exposure to a wide variety of pathologies and directly manage the majority of our patients' care, in a collaborative work environment that allows physicians to spend time interacting with patients and their families. The ideal candidate is a team player, BE/BC in Internal Medicine, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
