DIRECTOR OF QUALITY,EMERGENCY MEDICINE SERVICE LINE
Geisinger Health System (GHS) is currently seeking an ABEM/AOBEM, BE/BC Emergency Medicine physician, with a working knowledge of patient safety and improvement science, to join its well-established Emergency Medicine Service Line as the Director of Quality.
In addition to maintaining an active clinical practice, the Director will also be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of Geisinger's emergency departments' quality and safety programs, ensuring optimal evidence based, patient centered care. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated expertise and commitment to patient safety and quality improvement, proven leadership skills, an ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and a strong patient centered focus.
