PHYSICIAN HOSPITALIST - MOUNT NITTANY MEDICAL CENTER

 

Geisinger's Western Division, headquartered in State College, PA, home of Penn State University and the Nittany Lions, is seeking full time Hospitalists to join our team.

 

The Hospital Medicine Department is part of a collaborative venture between Mount Nittany Medical Center and the Geisinger Health System. The Hospitalists are employed by the Geisinger Health System, but they practice primarily at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.

 

A newly revised compensation and benefit plan is highly competitive with national market based benchmarks. Compensation is not based upon productivity or incentive metrics but rather competitive compensation directed toward recruitment and retention of individuals. Benefit package begins day one of employment and includes family medical, dental and vision coverage, paid malpractice with tail, paid relocation, CME allowance, etc. Compensation is highly competitive and begins at $255,000 for Geisinger hospitalists based at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
