GMC features a 500 + bed main hospital facility supported by 1200 primary and specialty care physicians, 30 residency and fellowship training programs, a fleet of 6 Life Flight helicopters, a new state of the art Hospital for Advanced Medicine, a multi-modal cancer treatment center, two research centers, and an expansive Children’s Hospital and Women’s Pavilion. The Division of Psychiatry at GMC encompasses a full array of services and modalities, including adult and child psychiatry, adult and child psychology, neuropsychology, integrated care clinics, inpatient short-term care, intensive outpatient programming, community psychiatry, university mental health services, tele-psychiatry, comprehensive consult and liaison services, and ECT. Academics is a strong focus within the Division, training medical students, residents, adult and child psychology residents and post-doctoral candidates, and neuropsychology fellows. We are recruiting faculty for our ACGME accredited residency program, now in its second year. We provide well-supported educational programming and CME including weekly Division Grand Rounds, case conferences, and journal club. Enjoy a flexible call schedule, typically 1 in 10 with most call from home by telephone, as well as generous time off from day one of employment including 20 days of vacation and 15 days of CME annually, ten of which may be taken as home study.
