PHYSICIAN HOSPITALIST - SCRANTON, PA

 

Geisinger Health System is currently seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist to join our Hospitalist Service at Geisinger Community Medical Center (GCMC) in Scranton, PA.  

 

Geisinger-Community Medical Center (GCMC), offers a complete continuum of educational, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services and programs. GCMC is home to Lackawanna County’s only Level II Trauma Center and Scranton’s only adult, in-patient behavioral health unit. Other programs GCMC provides include a comprehensive cardiac service line including open heart surgery, orthopedic services including the NewSteps joint replacement center, and a broad range of other surgical services and radiological services for men and women. Accredited as a Chest Pain Center and a certified primary stroke care center, GCMC is home to an expansive range of clinical and surgical services, including cardiac care, neurosurgery/neurology, and general surgery.

 

A newly revised compensation and benefit plan is highly competitive with national market based benchmarks.
