The Cleveland Clinic is recruiting for a position of Physician/Physician Scholar in The Center for Pediatric Rheumatology. The ideal candidate will be recognized for his/her experience in clinical care, as well as teaching and research. He/she should have a genuine interest in clinical medicine and have the drive to provide expert multidisciplinary care for patients and physicians reaching out for second opinion for such specialized conditions as autoinflammatory disease, autoimmune neurologic disease, vasculitis/vascular syndromes, and other complex rheumatologic conditions. We enjoy support from the various clinical Institutes within the Cleveland Clinic, including our nationally ranked adult rheumatology department and Center for Vasculitis Care and Research.

The Center for Pediatric Rheumatology is active in multiple national and international clinical research studies and collaborates with researchers at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. We are in the process of establishing a fellowship program in which the faculty applicant would play an essential role. Teaching opportunities are available in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. The applicant would have the ability to specialize in a disease or disease process, taking advantage of resources and collaborations available at The Cleveland Clinic.

The Cleveland Clinic Children's network includes 429 pediatric beds including the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation, which also provides inpatient treatment for children with chronic pain disorders. Additional information can be found online at www.ccf.org/childrens.

A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology and eligibility for licensure in Ohio are required. Applicants from Canada are encouraged to apply, as well as international applicants.
