An Arizona-based facility is currently seeking a locum tenens family medicine physician who may be interested in a permanent offer. Assignment schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Covering physician must be board certified or board eligible in family medicine and have an active and unrestricted BLS and PALS. Assignment requirements include well-baby, prenatal care, hypertension, diabetes, and limited women's health urgent care if needed. Ideal physician is available for at least 3 months, and has any active state license. Indian Health Service and tribal healthcare facilities provide a comprehensive health service delivery system for approximately 2.1 million American Indians and Alaska Natives, most of whom live on or near reservations and in rural communities. This government facility accepts your current license, regardless of the location of the facility.
