A medical center located in New Mexico is seeking a family medicine physician to help with locum tenens coverage for their practice. The candidate must be board certified. Scope of assignment includes newborn to geriatrics patients with diabetes, sprains, fractures (casting preferred), and needing joint injections. Assignment schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with no call, and physician will see 15-20 patients per day on average. BLS certification is required, and any state license will be accepted. Facility and accommodations are located close to Arizona border in a town known as the 'Indian jewelry capital of world.' You can enjoy swimming pools, tennis courts, golfing, and great trails for biking and hiking in Red Rock Park during your stay. Indian Health Service and tribal healthcare facilities provide a comprehensive health service delivery system for approximately 2.1 million American Indians and Alaska Natives, most of whom live on or near reservations and in rural communities.
