Open Hospitalist Daytime and Nocturnist Positions with Starling Physicians. Where jobs become careers in the medical field. We have current openings for Hospitalist physicians, experience preferred but not required, to join our practice of over 250 physicians in 28 convenient locations.

Starling Physicians has an exclusive contract to provide Hospitalist services at Hartford Hospital and is recruiting for night positions. Daytime Schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. It includes occasional shared Nocturnist rotation. This will be required for not more than one-fourth of your seven-day "on" rotations and will include premium pay for nights worked. Nocturnist Schedule is 7 nights off/7 nights on, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Open to H-1B candidates. Hartford Hospital is a major teaching affiliate of the University of Connecticut and this position with CMG offers the opportunity for resident teaching. We offer a clinical professorship title with potential for advancement.

Hospitalist Division Overview: We employ 30 Hospitalist physicians, including 26 Daytime doctors and four Nocturnists, with likely future expansion; We also employ a minimum of six Advanced Practitioners who cover both Days and Nights; We are a major teaching affiliate of UConn, work with the IM residents, and have access to a clinical professorship title with potential for advancement over time that can come through our group; We focus on fostering professional growth with mentorship and advanced training opportunities in leadership development, quality improvement, or research; Additional work opportunities are available and compensated; There are no required procedures; Hospitalists provide supervision of medical residents and mid levels; Employee Physicians are eligible for CMG shareholder status after two years of employment, upon recommendation of the Hospitalist Shareholders. Candidate requirements: Candidates must be Board certified or Board eligible; We are open to Visa candidates; We are open to candidates needing Connecticut License.
