Minnesota Facility Needs a Locum Tenens Hospitalist, No Call - CPH# JOB-2305005

A Minnesota-based facility is currently seeking a hospitalist to assist with ongoing coverage. Assignment requirements include central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, Intubations, and managing and initiating mechanical ventilations. This facility has limited backup, but they do have surgery, anesthesia, and oncology physicians available. This is a solo hospitalist position, and you must be able to intervene for rapid response and code blue situations, and you will be the medical consult for unstable post-op patients. Covering physician must be board certified or board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine and have a current ACLS. Ideal physician is experienced and has an active MN license in-hand. Assignment schedule is 7-14 shifts per month, 8:00am to 6:00pm with no call. Physician will see 12 patients per day including 1-3 admissions on average.
