Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a full Time Psychiatry Locum Tenens Physician an hour north of Boston.  Position needs coverage starting ASAP, for an ongoing duration of time. 

Inpatient position serving DMH-eligible patients including criminal defendants.  Patients are admitted for long term, more intensive inpatient psychiatric treatment.  Provider would have a caseload of around 16.  Length of stay is never less than 21 days and average length of stay is 1 year.  Types of cases include: schizophrenia, psychotic mood disorders, nonpsychotic patients with severe personality disorders, substance abuse and medical illness.  Forensic psychologists write reports for courts.  No managed care pressures. Psychiatrist is the leader of a multidisciplinary team.  No call is required, but opportunities available for someone who is interested.  Medical Doctor Associates provides A++ Malpractice Insurance.  Travel and Lodging accomodations can be provided.
