Oncology Medical Director - Utah County - Provo, UT
The South Region Oncology service line requires a BC/BE Oncology physician leader to oversee regional strategic direction and provide leadership to engage all physicians to ensure the quality deliver of cancer care for approximately 8-12 hours per month.
The Medical Director will provide operational leadership and clinical oversight for the development and management of Oncology Services and will define the strategic direction of the Cancer Center
The Medical Director will ensure the delivery of evidence-based cancer care to the community and will direct the planning and delivery of all cancer related services including community outreach, education, detection, survivorship, and support group programs
This physician leader will collaborate with the Hospital’s clinical and administrative leadership to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care in a welcoming, patient-centric environment
The Medical Director will also serve as the medical liaison/lead for the Oncology clinical program and will play a key role in the continued enhancement of the system delivery network
Assure adherence to the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer standards to oversee regional cancer committee
