Job Details

  • The South Region Oncology service line requires a BC/BE Oncology physician leader to oversee regional strategic direction and provide leadership to engage all physicians to ensure the quality deliver of cancer care for approximately 8-12 hours per month.

  • The Medical Director will provide operational leadership and clinical oversight for the development and management of Oncology Services and will define the strategic direction of the Cancer Center

  • The Medical Director will ensure the delivery of evidence-based cancer care to the community and will direct the planning and delivery of all cancer related services including community outreach, education, detection, survivorship, and support group programs

  • This physician leader will collaborate with the Hospital’s clinical and administrative leadership to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care in a welcoming, patient-centric environment

  • The Medical Director will also serve as the medical liaison/lead for the Oncology clinical program and will play a key role in the continued enhancement of the system delivery network

  • Assure adherence to the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer standards to oversee regional cancer committee
