The Division of Hospital Medicine is an Academic Division focused on clinical excellence, education, quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical research. The Division is comprised of 52 academic faculty members under the leadership of Dr. Amir Jaffer in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Academic Nocturnists who will be responsible for working 26 weeks per year (182 Shifts). These individuals will spend their clinical effort admitting and cross covering general medicine patients and working in close concert with house staff on the Hematology-Oncology service. Successful applicants should show excellent clinical skills. Strong support to match in a sub-specialty fellowship is provided. Qualified candidates should be eligible for faculty rank at Assistant Professor.
