Opportunity in South Carolina for Locums Pain Management Anesthesiologist

We have an exciting, locum tenens, pain management physician opportunity now available in South Carolina. This position consists of 100% outpatient pain management with both evaluations and interventional procedures including: epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections/medial branch blocks, selective nerve root blocks, sacroiliac injections, trigger point injections, discography, sympathetic blockades, various arthrocentesis, percutaneous discectomy, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, etc. Your assignment schedule will be Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm with no call, nights, or weekends. New patients are scheduled for 20-25 minutes and monthly follow-up patients are scheduled for 10-15 minutes. Procedure lengths are scheduled based on the physician's request. As the covering physician, it is preferred that you be board certified or board eligible in pain management, however anesthesiologists with pain management experience and training are encouraged to apply. You must have an active and unrestricted SC license, and their ACLS and BLS. We are looking for someone with good interpersonal and communication skills. Having a good bedside manner and the ability to connect with patients is ideal. Locum tenens physicians will help solve the challenges facing hospitals and their patients for decades to come.
