Locum Tenens Hospitalist Position in Pennsylvania, No Procedures

We are helping our client, an award-winning facility in Pennsylvania that is searching for a Hospitalist to assist with locum tenens coverage. No procedures or ICU required, higher acuity patients are transferred to a larger facility and an ER physician is on-site 24 hours a day. Your schedule will be 7:00am to 5:00pm with occasional call for the duration of the assignment and you will see 11-15 patients per day on average. Ideal physician is board certified or board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine, but this is not required. You must have an active and unrestricted PA license. Locum tenens doctors deliver highly valued services in community health centers, health professional shortage areas, low-income districts, and other urban locations in need. They also visit patients in remote locations and rural farm communities whose access to doctors would otherwise be infrequent at best.
