A practice in North Carolina seeks a locum tenens pain management physician to provide coverage. The assignment schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a half day Friday, and no call is required. The ideal candidate is board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology with a pain fellowship or pain experience, and has an active NC license. Procedures include epidurals, steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic nerve blocks, stellate ganglion blocks, SI joint injections, SIRF (radiofrequency), sphenopallatine ganglion blocks, celiac plexus blocks, trigeminal blocks and genicular blocks, trigger point injections, all large joint injections, botox injections for cervical dystonia and chronic migraine, spinal cord stimulation, and intrathecal pain pumps.
