Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H), one of the nation’s leading innovators in clinical care and national healthcare policy is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join the Section of Cardiology in conjunction with the Geisel School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have dem­onstrated clinical proficiency in active practice and be eligible for, or have achieved the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. He/ she should also have experience and an academic record in either health care delivery, health care policy, clinical or outcomes research. He/she will join an academic practice of 25 full-time cardiologists (eight interventional cardiologists), 16 clinical and research fellows, and a talented multidisciplinary ancillary staff. The responsibilities of the suc­cessful candidate include diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath­eterization, including complex PCI, right and left heart hemodynamic studies, radial artery access, and appropriate use of advanced hemo­dynamic support devices. The ideal candidate will have advanced training and/or experience in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral valve therapies, PFO/ASD closure, and left atrial ap­pendage closure to add to our growing structural heart program. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in team care and the mentoring of associate providers, cardiovascular trainees, internal medicine house staff, and students from Geisel School of Medicine. This position holds an academic title at the Geisel School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic portfolio.
