Sansum Clinic is seeking a surgeon with fellowship training in Hepatobiliary Surgery and/or Surgical Oncology. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both of these areas, though candidates with either of these backgrounds should apply. Sansum Clinic has a more than 95-year history of taking care of a large percentage of patients in the central coast of California and beyond, as many come for tertiary care. We are building a new 50,000 sq foot Cancer Center. This will be home to our 10 medical oncologists and four radiation oncologists already on staff. This surgeon will join our five surgeons currently on staff. Cottage Hospital, across the street, has a surgical residency program which will allow this surgeon to teach and mentor surgical residents.

Based in Santa Barbara, Sansum Clinic is the oldest and largest non-profit, multispecialty group between San Francisco and Los Angeles with over 200 physicians and surgeons and a staff of healthcare professionals in over 30 specialized areas of medicine. Sansum Clinic has garnered recognition, accreditation, and awards from national and state agencies. It is our mission to provide an excellent healthcare experience, recognizing our first priority is the patients we serve. We continue to provide the most advanced care that our patients have come to expect from Sansum Clinic.

Santa Barbara offers a wonderful array of natural and cultural amenities. Referred to as the American Riviera, Santa Barbara is where people visit once and never want to go home. In addition to our beautiful beaches and breathtaking mountains, Santa Barbara has an exceptionally high-quality medical community, featuring levels of care and service typically found only in much larger cities.
