Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA). The Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment that specializes in clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers. This is a non-tenure track position. Academic ranking will be commensurate with experience. The primary responsibilities of this position will be clinical in nature; however, the candidate should have a strong interest in participating in clinical research and instructional/educational activities for the department. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD degree; Board-eligible or board-certified in Medical Oncology or related field; Board-eligible or licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Experience in GI Cancer management strongly preferred.
