Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking BE/BC Pediatricians who are passionate about practicing in a collegial, friendly, faith-based environment.

The Pediatric Urgent Care is a new endeavor and an exciting opportunity for individuals who desire to be a part of something new. This position offers a competitive salary with generous benefits including retirement, malpractice, and relocation fund.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and managing general urgent care patients from newborn to 18 years old. Initial candidates will also have the opportunity to be involved in administrative projects if interested. We will be considering candidates for full-time and part-time positions. New graduates are welcome to apply.

The Department of Pediatrics takes a leadership role at Loma Linda, with the department chair currently holding the position of Chief Medical Officer for the LLU Children’s Hospital. The Department is the largest academic department within the School of Medicine and has 14 separate specialty cost centers as well as multiple residencies and fellowship programs.

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and School of Medicine with the mission is to deliver whole-person care at a world-class level of clinical excellence. The Medical Center and Children’s Hospital has one of the largest academic teaching and clinical programs in the United States and serves a population of approximately 3.5 million people.

Loma Linda University is located East of Los Angeles known as the Inland Empire. The beaches of Newport, Laguna, and Malibu are only 60-90 minutes to the West, with superb swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and sailing. Also 60 minutes to the west, downtown Los Angeles, with its top-quality restaurants, world-renowned museums, opera, and other cultural opportunities. The Big Bear Mountain Ski resort is about a one-hour drive from LLU. The golf courses, shopping, and spas of Palm Springs are a 60-minute drive to the east and world-class Mammoth Mountain resort is a six-hour drive to the north.
